Frozen Boneless Tilapia Fish Fillets

Neat tilapia fillets, trimmed to a clean oval and laid out three to a plate. The flesh is a pale ivory with the fine herringbone pattern of muscle segments showing across the surface, and the surface is dry and glossy rather than watery.

These are boneless, skinless and evenly sized, so they cook at the same rate and plate up tidily. The flavour is mild and clean, which makes them a good base for whatever you put with them — pan-fry in butter and lemon, coat in breadcrumbs and shallow-fry, steam with ginger, or fold into fish tacos and curries.
